No. USBtoCloud doesn’t know your Cloud Storage username/password and only an encrypted token is used to authenticate your cloud login. All communication over the Internet is done through https (SSL) using the certified Cloud’s APIs.

USBtoCloud doesn’t know your password to the Cloud Storage. After the initial handshake with your Cloud provider, ClevX receive a token (doesn’t contain any username/password) and this token is encrypted by our software and then stored on the drive.

We are continuously working to improve and enhance the DriveSecurity application and make updates available at any time without prior notice. DriveSecurity software is designed to perform an automatic check for updates every time you insert your drive, but you can check this manually from the Windows notification area (system tray).

Virus signature definition data is updated automatically on the drive every hour when an Internet connection is available. However, customers can manually check for the latest signature files from the Windows notification area popup menu:

EncryptUSB is designed to automatically encrypt files on your portable (external) USB device but if you want to encrypt files from another location (such as your PC’s internal drive or a network drive) then just copy them into your EncryptUSB drive and they will be automatically encrypted.
