Management Team

Lev is an inventor, entrepreneur, and business executive with over 25 years of high-tech industry experience. Before starting ClevX, Lev was the VP of Product Development and Global Device Support Operations with Data I/O, where he worked since 1996. Under his leadership, the company developed breakthrough technologies for the telecommunication and electronic industries. At Data I/O, Lev was responsible for all phases of product development, transition-to-production, operations, P&L, and general management.

As a business and technology visionary, and innovator, Lev helped launch numerous new technologies and products. In addition, Lev has over 35 US and 70 international patents and is a leading inventor on several breakthrough and awards winning products with regards to robotics, automated programming, and consumer electronics area.

Simon is system architect and head of engineering with over 25 years experience in Product Design and Commercialization. He previously worked with Lev on large scale architectural projects delivering products from concept to market. He is an experienced system architect, product developer, and inventor.

Simon was co-founder of Pro-Automation that was acquired by Hover-Davis. Much of his early years were spent as a System Architect designing a variety of products, including bar-code scanners, printers, flash memory programmers, wireless communications devices, helicopter cockpit displays, and many others. Recently, at Data I/O, Simon was responsible for the System Architecture of a new innovative Desktop Handling system, designing interfaces and algorithms to support a myriad of memory devices.

Benny joined ClevX in mid 2007 and is responsible for product marketing, strategy, and management. Benny brings over 25 years of experience in product management and business development as well as in software architecture, flash-based storage platforms and systems, and telco-grade system architecture.

Prior to joining ClevX, Benny served as product manager for M-Systems (acquired by SanDisk) Mobile Handset Vendor division that was focused on embedded Flash storage solutions.

Benny began his career as a Project Leader at the University of Haifa, Israel, lecturing and evangelizing Java technology before serving as Java technology lead and architect at Vsoft LTD. He then continued on as Chief Architect and Director of Product Management at CellGlide.
