Management Team

Lev is an inventor, entrepreneur, and business executive with over 25 years of high-tech industry experience. Before starting ClevX, Lev was the VP of Product Development and Global Device Support Operations with Data I/O, where he worked since 1996. Under his leadership, the company developed breakthrough technologies for the telecommunication and electronic industries. At Data I/O, Lev was responsible for all phases of product development, transition-to-production, operations, P&L, and general management.

As a business and technology visionary, and innovator, Lev helped launch numerous new technologies and products. In addition, Lev has over 35 US and 70 international patents and is a leading inventor on several breakthrough and awards winning products with regards to robotics, automated programming, and consumer electronics area.

Simon is chief-technologist and co-founder of ClevX. With over 30 years experience in product design and commercialization, he has a broad background in software, embedded systems, electronics, and biology. Prior to ClevX, his experience spanned many products including robotics, bar code printers, PC applications, cockpit displays, and more. Simon was also co-founder of Pro-Automation in which their award winning designs in factory automation lead to their acquisition by Hover-Davis.

This experience has now been adapted to developing intellectual property for ClevX. Simon prides himself on seeking simple solutions to complex problems. Much of this philosophy is now applied to awards winning self-encrypting security platforms here at ClevX. He is also an avid musician playing entertainment venues in western Washington.
